Envar Composting is pleased to announce a new partnership with Countrystyle Recycling. Working with Vegware, together we will be their only authorised waste collector and composting facility in the Cambridgeshire area.
Countrystyle Recycling recently expanded into the Cambridgeshire area through its operations in Thetford and as a sister company to Envar Composting. Our unique partnership allows us to offer a complete closed-loop recycling solution for Vegware packaging and food waste simultaneously.
Vegware is a specialist manufacturer of plant-based compostable packaging, primarily used for foodservice purposes. Their award-winning products are well known for their innovation, quality, performance and eco-credentials. Vegware is sold in more than 70 countries worldwide. They work with some of the world’s largest contract caterers and distributors. Their aim is to help food service establishments meet their sustainability goals and to dramatically reduce waste to landfill and single use plastic.
As these are compostable products, they must be collected and processed in a particular way to ensure the maximum environmental benefit. Our partnership with Vegware and Countrystyle ensures that businesses who use Vegware products will know that their waste is being collected and processed correctly and disposed of in a compliant manner as part of a closed-loop solution.

Collections will take place using one of Countrystyle’s dedicated dual pod vehicles. These specially designed vehicles reduce the carbon footprint of collections while also increasing the availability of collection slots for businesses in Cambridgeshire.
Envar’s flagship composting site at St Ives in Cambridgeshire produces high quality PAS100 and CQP certified soil conditioner. Our products are widely used by the agricultural, viticultural and horticultural markets. We also manufacture quality biomass fuels.
