Envar Composting is extremely pleased to announce the acquisition of Bio-Bean Ltd assets, based in Cambridgeshire.
Bio-Bean was the world’s largest recycler of spent coffee grounds, recycling thousands of tonnes annually into sustainable bio-products, specialising in the processing of waste coffee grounds into advanced biofuels.
“This was a great opportunity for us to acquire a business which will complement our existing businesses” stated Chairman Trevor Heathcote. “We have high hopes of introducing the product to more and more retailers in the years to come”.
Moving forward, now Envar has acquired Bio-Bean’s assets, the principal goal is to expand our waste management services and demonstrate our commitment to sending zero waste to landfill. Additionally, this acquisition strengthens Envar’s position in the sustainable bio-products industry and allows us to expand our portfolio of environmentally friendly solutions.
We aim to further innovate and develop advanced biofuels derived from waste coffee grounds. By leveraging our combined resources, we will continue to drive the circular economy and contribute to a greener and more sustainable future.
