Lime ash is an odourless, strong alkaline, grey/white gritty powder derived from the co-combustion of short fibre paper crumble from the paper recycling industry and sustainable forest material. The lime ash is delivered to farms in bulk tipper loads and has been successfully used for dairy cow cubical bedding used either on its own or mixed with sand, sawdust or other wood waste bedding material.

The lime ash is water conditioned at the point of manufacture to ensure that the material is dust free.

Lime ash has been widely used in lose housing when mixed with straw or sawdust and has been used on cubicles bases made of concrete, earth and rubber mats. Envar have successfully marketed lime ash for animal bedding for the last 3 winters. We have over 500 registered users.
