Envar exhibited at the Futuresource exhibition at the London ExCel from 15th to 17th June, The show was a brilliant success. Envar was honoured to have the Irish Minister, Edwin Poots on the Envar stand. 

April 2010

Warwickshire County Council awarded Envar with one year contract to compost kerbside-collected green wasted in the north of the county. The processing partnership with Woodfields Recycling means that PAS 100 accredited compost can be returned to the community and on sale in the county forming a complete loop of waste to resource.

Envar attended the Recycling Waste Management show at the NEC in Birmingham from the 15th to 17th September. The stand was bigger and better than ever before and everyone was welcome to come and meet the expanding Sales Team. For further information about the event.

Envar Accredited with ISO14001 - We are delighted to announce that Envar has received certification of the Environmental Management System of ISO14001:2004. Envar has worked extremely hard over the last few years to become recognised within the industry for adhering to legislation and having a high standard of systems. This is a remarkable achievement and demonstrates that Envar offers an expert service at a competitive rate.

Envar will be exhibiting at the FutureSource Exhibition (Europe's Sustainability Event) The exhibition will showcase the latest products and services encompassing all areas of wastes and resources management and builds on the success of the CIWM exhibition with new and improved elements.

Emma Lucas recently joined the Sales & Development Team, Emma joined Envar last year on the administration team and has since become the Marketing and Sales Co-Ordinator and HR Contact for Envar. She is now providing crucial support to the Sales & Development Team.

September 2008

Donna Haysom joined Envar in September 2008 as Site Clerk and ISO Administrator. Donna has a customer facing role at St Ives Composting site and is responsible for quality management and compliance as well as site support. 

May 2008

Stuart Smith joined Envar in May 2008 as Development Manager. Stuart has 13 years experience in the waste management industry and 16 years in customer facing roles. The experience has been built up working for commercial waste collection and reprocessing companies. He also has knowledge of hazardous waste and effluent treatment working for United Utilities. Before joining Envar Stuart worked for the prestigious National Industrial Symbiosis Program (NISP) assisting, industry, utilities and local authorities in innovative solutions to various waste issues in finding novel uses for materials. It is because of Stuarts exposure to innovative recycling and reprocessing solutions we view Stuart as one of our resource specialists.Stuart is responsible for new business and account management of a client base primarily in the paper, utility and food sectors based in the North of England. He is also tasked with developing new markets for waste streams.

April 2008

Envar were awarded the contract with Hertfordshire County Council for the provision of a composting/treatment facility for waste arising in Hertfordshire, this includes co-mingled green and food waste. This contract was awarded for ten years.
