Benefits of applying organic manures to agricultural land

Organic manures applied to agricultural land may be produced on the farm (slurries, farmyard manures and poultry manures) or supplied from other sources such as treated sewage sludges(biosolids) and other industrial ‘wastes’ such as composts, water treatment cake (WTC) and paper crumble.

Envar analyses your waste product to identify what properties it contains. Often these properties have a benefit to agriculture by providing nutrients, trace elements or organic matter to the soil. After analysing the waste, Envar uses its team of Fertiliser Application Certificate (FACTS) qualified staff to establish the potential of the material, if recycled to land, to benefit the crop, soil and farmers. Envar applies to the Environment Agency for a waste management licensing exemption allowing us to recycle the material safely.
