As part of the Total Waste Management offer EnVar is able to offer Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) recycling. EnVar has recently secured a contract for monthly collections for WEEE items using secure specialist containers for bulking of the WEEE.

The Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment Regulations 2006 introduced the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive to UK law in January 2007 with the aim to reduce the amount of equipment being produced and to create the incentive to reuse and recover.

The reliance on electronic and electrical equipment is still increasing within businesses, and with added value contracts and technology improving overnight the need for new electronic and electrical equipment is increasing.

EnVar is able to recycle the WEEE to close the loop and securely wipe any equipment and return the materials back to the manufacturers.
